The Department of Registration of Persons has announced that students who have not yet obtained their National Identity Card (NIC) confirmation letters for the 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination can collect them today (15).
The department stated that its offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. exclusively for issuing NIC confirmation letters.
These letters are available at the main office of the Department of Registration of Persons and its regional branches in Galle, Kurunegala, Vavuniya, Batticaloa, and Nuwara Eliya.
Additionally, candidates can download the required letter from the department’s official website at www.drp.gov.lk.
Moreover, school applicants sitting for the 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination who have yet to submit their applications must bring duly filled forms certified by their school principal or Grama Niladhari Officer.
The 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination is set to commence on March 17, 2025.
