Globally recognised American singer Aloe Blacc landed at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning (10) for a short three-day stay in Sri Lanka.
Aloe Blacc, a Grammy-nominated artist who has dominated music rankings in 22 nations, is visiting the country on the invitation of Professor Gomika Udugamasooriya, Senior Advisor to the President on Science and Technology at the University of Houston, USA.
His visit aims to hold discussions on launching an investment initiative in Sri Lanka’s healthcare sector.
The singer arrived at BIA at 8:24 a.m. today via Qatar Airways flight QR-664 from Doha.
He received a warm reception from Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau representatives, alongside Professor Gomika Udugamasooriya.
