Sri Lankan cricketer Ashen Bandara has been taken into custody by the Piliyandala Police.
Ashen Bandara, who resides in the Kolamunna area of Piliyandala, was detained for allegedly attacking a person after entering their residence.
The incident reportedly happened following a dispute with a neighbour, which escalated due to his vehicle obstructing the road.
The suspect has been granted police bail and is expected to appear in court on March 12.
