At least 21 people were wounded when a public bus from the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) slammed into a store and a residence in Baththuluoya, Arachchikattuwa, earlier today.
The bus, heading from Nikaweratiya to Colombo, lost control, struck a tree, and then smashed into the shop and home.
A baby who was sleeping inside the house during the crash was also among those injured.
The wounded individuals are currently undergoing treatment at Chilaw and Mundalama hospitals.
