The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has cautioned the public about an employment scam that is falsely using its name.
It reported an increase in fraudulent job advertisements circulating on social media and other platforms, along with the frequent misuse of the Bank’s official logo to mislead the public into believing that job opportunities are being offered at CBSL.
“We emphasise that CBSL does not publish job advertisements on third-party social media platforms, and all official career opportunities are available only on the CBSL website under the Careers section and through our official social media channels,” it said.
