Couple nabbed with ‘Ice’ in Seeduwa.!

A man and woman have been apprehended with a stash of ‘Ice’ (Crystal Methamphetamine) in a raid carried out last night (12) in the Liyanagemulla region of Seeduwa, following a tip-off received by a team of officers from Seeduwa Police Station.
During the operation, police confiscated 568 grams and 220 milligrams of ‘Ice’ found in the suspects’ possession.
Authorities state the duo was ferrying the narcotics on a motorbike when they were captured.
The individuals, aged 31 and 40, are residents of Weboda and Minuwangoda, as per police reports.
Seeduwa Police are continuing investigations regarding the matter.
