Former Sri Lankan cricket captain Kumar Sangakkara has been appointed as the chairman of the MCC World Cricket Advisory Committee.
The prestigious committee also includes notable figures such as ICC chairman Jay Shah, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, former South African opener Graeme Smith, England’s director of cricket Andrew Strauss, England women’s captain Heather Knight, and Geostar CEO Sanjog Gupta.
International media reports indicate that the MCC World Cricket Advisory Committee is set to convene on June 7 and 8, just ahead of the final day of the Research World Test Championship between Australia and South Africa at Lord’s.
